How It Works

This is a procedure where the buttock area is reshaped and increased in size by the injection of fat. The fat is removed from other areas of the body where there is excess fat (e.g. the tummy, thighs, back) by liposuction. This fat is then cleansed, filtered, and injected into the buttocks, enhancing its size and shape using your own tissues. This is done through small incisions. The procedure is also known as a “Brazilian Butt Lift”.

FAQ's

  • What happens during the operation?

    After you are asleep, the surgery takes place over 2-3 hours. There are two stages to this procedure. First-excess fat is removed from areas of your body using liposuction. The fat is filtered in the operating room, and then injected into the buttocks. This helps to produce rounder, fuller buttocks.

  • What is recovery like?

    The buttock area will be sensitive for days after surgery, during this time you will not be allowed to sit down. It is recommended to lay on your belly or side on the couch or while sleeping. After this time the pain will improve and you will be able to resume daily activity. After the surgery your buttock will appear larger due to the injected fat as well as swelling after approximately three months final results will be visible.

  • Will I have a scar?

    One of the major benefits of the Buttock Fat Graft is that there are no major incisions. That means minimal scarring.

  • Is buttock fat grafting the same as buttock injections?

    NO! Buttock injections is the process of injecting various substances such as silicone, biogel PMMA, and others into the buttock. During Buttock Fat Grafting only fat liposuctioned from the patients own body is injected into the buttock. Using anything else is extremely dangerous!
