BOOK TREATMENT

What is non-surgical vaginal tightening?

Non-surgical vaginal tightening is a treatment that restores comfort inside the vaginal canal and around the external labial tissue without any cutting or downtime. Allura uses a device called

Tempsure Vitalia, which gently warms the tissue using radiofrequency energy.
That controlled warming signals your body to produce new collagen in the treated area. Over the following weeks, the new collagen is what tightens the tissue, improves lubrication, restores sensation, and can reduce mild urinary leakage. The changes build gradually rather than all at once, which is one of the reasons the treatment feels more natural than dramatic.

What can this treatment actually do for you?

Women come to Allura for this when they want real improvement in how their body feels after childbirth or menopause. A full plan can:

  • Restore firmness and tone inside and out, so intimacy feels more like it used to.
  • Bring back natural lubrication and sensitivity, so daily dryness eases and sensation during sex can return.
  • Reduce those small leaks that sneak in when you cough, laugh, run, or lift.
  • Give you back the confidence to stop censoring the activities and clothing choices you had quietly started to avoid.

Results build gradually as your body produces new collagen. One maintenance visit every 12 to 18 months is usually enough to hold your results long-term.

Is this treatment right for you?

This suits women who have noticed changes since childbirth or menopause and who want a real option before considering anything surgical.

You are likely a good candidate if any of this sounds familiar:

  • You have had one or more children and notice changes in sensation or natural lubrication during intimacy.
  • You are in perimenopause or past menopause and living with a looser feeling, often paired with dryness or small leaks when you cough, laugh, sneeze, or run.
  • You have already tried Kegels or over-the-counter creams and have not seen the change you hoped for.
  • You want something that works, fits around your life, takes about 30 minutes, and lets your body do the healing itself.

This is not the right treatment for you if you are pregnant. It is also not recommended if you have an active pelvic infection or an implanted electronic device like a pacemaker.

At your consultation, your Allura clinician reviews your full medical history to confirm whether this is a confident fit for you.

What happens during the treatment?

Your plan is usually three to four sessions, spaced about three to four weeks apart, so you walk into each one with confidence about what is coming.

Each visit runs the same way. You arrive at our private Dieppe clinic and are taken to a treatment room. Your clinician reviews what you are hoping for and answers any questions you still have. A small probe, about the size of a tampon, is placed inside for the internal portion of the session. If your plan includes external work, a separate handpiece is used on the outer tissue.

Over the next 20 to 30 minutes, you feel a warm, deep sensation. Most women describe it as a comfortable warmth through the whole session.
You drive yourself home afterward and go straight back to your day. Most patients are back to exercise and intimacy within 24 to 48 hours, once any tenderness has passed.

What does it cost?

Because every plan is built around your specific goals, the total cost depends on how many sessions you need and whether external work is part of your plan.

At your consultation, your Allura coordinator walks you through the exact pricing for your plan and the financing options that make it easier to move forward with confidence. This is an elective treatment, so you should expect to pay privately, the same way you would for any other aesthetic service.

Does it Hurt?

For most women, the session is comfortable from start to finish. Patients describe the probe as a warm, deep pressure, similar to a hot stone during a massage. The approach uses gentle warmth delivered through a smooth probe, so your skin stays fully intact throughout.

You stay fully clothed from the waist up, and the whole experience feels closer to a routine gynecological exam than anything more invasive. If the warmth feels too intense at any point, your clinician adjusts the settings straight away. Most women leave the room relaxed enough to walk back into their day with their confidence restored and their schedule intact.

What are the risks and side effects?

This is a well-studied, well-tolerated treatment when it is delivered by a trained clinician in a certified facility, which is part of why Allura’s patients book it with confidence.

Most women feel nothing beyond a mild warmth during the session and a light pink flush on the outer tissue for an hour or two afterward.

Less often, women report:

  • Light spotting for up to 24 hours after an internal session.
  • A short-term increase in discharge, as the tissue responds and starts producing more natural lubrication.
  • Mild tenderness, similar to what you might feel after a Pap smear.
  • Some sensitivity during intimacy for a day or two after a session.

Serious side effects are rare. Your clinician monitors the probe temperature in real time throughout the session, which keeps the tissue safe from the risks associated with older, less-controlled devices.

Anything that lingers beyond 48 hours should be reported to us directly, and we will bring you back for a complimentary check-in.

How should you prepare?

Prep is simple. A few small things help you walk into your session with confidence:

  • Schedule your appointment outside your menstrual cycle. Our team will help you time it.
  • Avoid sex for 24 hours beforehand, so the tissue is at baseline.
  • Wear something comfortable. Loose bottoms are the easiest to go home in.
  • Bring your questions. You will have time to go through them at the start of the session.

If you are using any vaginal or hormonal products, prescription or otherwise, mention them at your consultation so your clinician can factor them in.

What is recovery like?

You can treat this like any other appointment in your calendar.
You leave the clinic and head straight to work, errands, the gym, or wherever else your day takes you. Most women only feel the mild warmth from the session itself, and it fades within an hour or two. Intimacy is fine again within 24 to 48 hours, once any tenderness has passed.

The change itself builds gradually over the following weeks as your body makes new collagen. Many women notice something different after their first or second session, with the full result usually visible 30 to 60 days after the final session. One maintenance visit every 12 to 18 months keeps your confidence in how your body feels steady long-term.

FAQ's

  • Does non-surgical vaginal tightening actually work, or is it marketing hype?

It works through a well-understood mechanism. Radiofrequency warming causes controlled micro-stimulation in the deeper tissue layers, which triggers your body to produce new collagen. The new collagen is what tightens and thickens the tissue over the following weeks. The results are gradual rather than dramatic and are strongest for women with mild to moderate changes. If you have severe laxity or significant prolapse, a surgical approach will likely produce a better result, and that will be discussed honestly at your consultation.

  • How many sessions will I need, and how long do the results last?

Most women complete three sessions, spaced about four weeks apart, to build the full result. The comfort improvements usually hold for 12 to 18 months before gradual softening begins. A single maintenance session once a year is often enough to keep the results in place.

  • Will it help with the small leaks I get when I laugh, cough, sneeze, or exercise?

Mild stress urinary incontinence is one of the most common reasons women book this treatment, and it’s one of the areas where results tend to be most noticeable. As new collagen rebuilds the supporting tissue, many women experience a meaningful decrease in leakage. If your incontinence is moderate to severe, a pelvic floor physiotherapist or a urogynecologist may be recommended either on its own or alongside this treatment.

  • How soon after childbirth can I have this treatment?

Most clinicians recommend waiting at least three months after a vaginal delivery and until you’ve stopped breastfeeding, because hormone levels affect how the tissue responds. Your consultation is the right place to confirm the timing for your specific situation.

  • Is this safe during or after menopause?

Yes. Menopausal tissue change is one of the most common reasons women seek this treatment. Because the mechanism is non-surgical and non-hormonal, it can be a comfortable option for women who want to avoid hormone replacement therapy or who are unable to use it for medical reasons.

  • Will my partner notice a difference?

Some women say their partner notices a change, but the question most women are actually asking is if they will notice a change themselves. That answer is more often yes. Increased lubrication and sensation tend to be the first things women notice, and both tend to affect their own experience of intimacy more than anything else.

  • Can Kegel exercises or over-the-counter creams do the same thing?

Kegels strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, which helps with some forms of incontinence but does not address vaginal tissue laxity or thickness. Creams and serums work only on the surface and cannot reach deep enough to stimulate collagen remodeling. Tempsure Vitalia works in the deeper tissue layer, which is why it can produce comfort changes the other options cannot.

  • How is this different from laser vaginal rejuvenation?

Laser treatments use light energy to ablate, or remove, a thin layer of surface tissue so new tissue grows in its place. Tempsure Vitalia uses radiofrequency energy to warm the deeper tissue without removing any surface layer. The radiofrequency approach is typically more comfortable during the session and involves no sloughing or downtime afterward.

  • What if I don't notice changes after the first session?

Changes from Tempsure Vitalia build gradually as new collagen forms. Most women don’t notice a clear result until after the second session, and the full effect usually takes until after the third. If the expected changes aren’t appearing by that point, Dr. Husain will discuss what else might be contributing and find out honestly whether a different comfort-focused option would serve you better.

  • What is the next step if I think this might be right for me?

The next step is to book a private consultation with Dr. Husain and a member of the nursing team. You’ll talk through what you’ve been experiencing in a confidential setting, review your medical history, and get an honest answer about if this treatment is the right fit for your situation. You commit to nothing during the consultation itself.
