Lift. Reshape. Feel Like Yourself Again.

Restore youthful position and contour to your breasts with a surgical approach designed for long-term, natural-looking results.

A breast lift is designed to raise and reshape breasts that have begun to sag due to pregnancy, weight loss, aging, or skin changes over time. At Allura Clinics, we perform breast lift surgery to reposition the nipple, remove excess skin, and restore a firmer, more balanced contour. If you feel your breasts sit lower than they used to or your nipples point downward, a lift may be the solution.

We approach breast lift surgery with precision and planning. Your anatomy, skin quality, and long-term goals guide every decision we make.

What Is a Breast Lift?

A breast lift is a surgical procedure that raises the position of the nipple and reshapes sagging breast tissue. Over time, stretched skin causes the breasts to lose firmness and descend on the chest. During surgery, we remove excess skin and reposition the nipple to a more central, forward-facing position.

A breast lift focuses on lifting and reshaping. It does not increase breast size.

Do You Need a Lift Alone or a Lift with Implants?

The decision between a lift alone or a lift combined with implants depends entirely on the result you want. A lift alone restores position and firmness. Implants add fullness and volume, especially to the upper part of the breast.

Here is how we guide that decision:

  • Lift alone: breasts look perkier and more youthful, size remains the same
  • Lift with implants: added fullness at the top of the chest and increased size
  • Smaller breasts: requires a breast reduction, not a lift

During your consultation, we assess your anatomy and listen closely to your goals so we can recommend the right plan.

Who Is a Good Candidate for a Breast Lift?

A breast lift is appropriate for anyone experiencing sagging breast tissue and wanting to restore shape and position. Many clients are between 35 and 55 years old, but age alone does not determine candidacy. Your overall health and stability matter more.

You may be a strong candidate if:

  • Your breasts sit lower than they used to
  • Your nipples point downward or sit below the breast crease
  • You are at a stable, healthy weight
  • You have completed your family or understand that future pregnancy may affect results

For best outcomes, we recommend being at your ideal weight before surgery and avoiding planned weight loss afterward.

What Do the Scars Look Like?

Most breast lifts use what is known as a lollipop incision. This includes a circular incision around the areola and a vertical line extending down the lower portion of the breast.

In the first three to six months, scars appear pink and more visible. Over the course of a year, they fade significantly.

You can expect:

  • The areola scar blends well with the natural colour change of the skin
  • The vertical scar softens into a pale line over time
  • Scar cream can be used starting one month after surgery
  • If a second lift is performed later in life, we use the same incision lines

We plan incisions carefully to balance lift, shape, and long-term scar quality.

Does a Breast Lift Change Breast Size?

A breast lift does not change the size of your breasts. We do not remove breast tissue during a standard lift. The procedure removes excess skin and reshapes what you already have.

If you want larger breasts, implants are required. If you want smaller breasts, a breast reduction is the correct procedure.

What Is the Downtime and Recovery Like?

Recovery from a breast lift requires four weeks of restricted activity. During this period, you must avoid heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling. If your job is physically demanding, you may need two to four weeks off work.

Here is what most clients experience:

  • Manageable discomfort, not severe pain
  • Swelling and bruising for two to four weeks
  • Ability to shower shortly after surgery
  • No swimming, hot tubs, or submerging incisions for four weeks
  • Supportive bra worn consistently during early healing

Most clients feel significantly better by the two-week mark and can perform light activities at home.

What Are the Risks?

Breast lift surgery carries the standard risks associated with any surgical procedure. Swelling and bruising are expected. Temporary changes in nipple sensation can occur.

The procedure is performed under general anesthesia. During your consultation, we review all potential risks and ensure you understand every aspect of surgery before moving forward.

How Should You Prepare?

Preparation has a direct impact on healing and results. You should be at a stable, healthy weight with no planned weight loss after surgery. Smoking must stop three months before and three months after surgery to support proper healing.

We also recommend:

  • Arranging a caregiver for the first 24 hours after anesthesia
  • Planning for help at home during the first few days
  • Having a supportive sports-bra-style bra ready for recovery

We provide detailed pre-operative instructions so you feel fully prepared.

Are There Non-Surgical Alternatives?

There are no non-surgical treatments that can replicate the results of a breast lift. Devices and skin-tightening technologies do not remove excess skin. When true sagging is present, surgery is the only reliable solution.
