An upper back lift is a procedure when excess skin and fat are removed from the area of the back under the scapula. An incision is made in the bra line of the back and the excess skin and fat are removed and the incision is closed with dissolving sutures to make this area of the back smooth and flat. It may be combined with liposuction.
