Breast Lift
Make your breast perky again
A breast lift is a procedure that corrects droopiness of the breasts (ptosis). Ptosis happens when there is excess skin compared to the breast tissue, causing the breast to droop down and causing the nipple to point downwards instead of forwards.
The procedure removes the excess skin and tightens the remaining skin around the breast tissue. The nipple is also repositioned higher on the breast so that it points forward. A breast lift can be performed using 3 types of incisions, depending on the amount of excess skin.
If there is only a small amount of excess skin, it can be performed with a circular incision around the areola (peri-areolar) also called a “donut incision”. If there is more excess skin, then a “lollipop” incision is made, which goes around the areola like a circle and then vertically below the areola (vertical scar). If there is a lot of extra skin, then an “anchor” shaped incision is made, with an incision around the areola, then a vertical incision, followed by an incision under the breast (Wise pattern). The incisions are closed with dissolving sutures. A breast lift may be combined with a breast augmentation if fuller breasts are the desired goal.

3D TOOLA breast lift does not change the volume of your breast tissue. After the procedure, you will have the same amount of breast tissue as you had before. It does, however, remove excess skin and reshape and reposition the breasts.
Yes, it is common to combine a breast lift with breast implants. Another common combination is a breast lift with a tummy tuck (also known as a “Mommy Makeover”. Feel free to discuss combining procedures during your consultation, to ensure you meet your aesthetic goals.
We generally recommend 4 weeks of light activity after the surgery to allow the incisions to heal properly. If your work does not require any heavy lifting or physical activity then you can return to work after 2 weeks.
