Meet Dr. Husain
Helping You Look and Feel Your Best with Trusted Expertise
Born in the Middle East, I earned my medical degree at the Arabian Gulf University and completed a 5-year training program in General Surgery. In 1996, McGill University’s Plastic Surgery Program accepted me, where I trained extensively in a wide range of Plastic and Reconstructive procedures.
My research on “Reconstructive Needs of Breast Cancer Patients with Partial Mastectomy Defects” was awarded “Best Reconstructive Research Paper” at the Senior Residents Conference in Seattle in 2001.
After graduating from McGill University in 2002 and successfully passing the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada examination, I moved to Moncton, New Brunswick, where I quickly established a thriving practice. In 2006, I took an educational leave for further specialization at the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Medicine in Reconstructive Breast Surgery, earning a Post-Graduate Fellowship Certificate.
My journey into cosmetic surgery began when I had multiple career paths to explore during my internship. Cosmetic surgery stood out as the perfect fit, combining my love for precision and my desire for excellence.
With a detail-oriented nature and a passion for achieving perfection, I found that cosmetic surgery matched both my skills and personality. Every procedure involves the balance of artistry and precision, which brings deep personal satisfaction and keeps my work rewarding.
Today, I perform Plastic, Reconstructive, and Cosmetic Surgery at the Moncton Hospital, Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Sackville Hospital, and at our clinic, Allura Medical Aesthetics & Surgery. Allura Medical Aesthetics & Surgery became the first private clinic in New Brunswick to perform surgeries under general anesthesia.
Patients who choose me receive dedicated care. Each person is heard and understood, with their goals guiding every step. By enhancing outward appearance, I help cultivate confidence and a sense of fulfillment, creating positive outcomes consistently.

At Allura Medical Aesthetics & Surgery, safety is a top priority, and every step of our surgical process is designed to meet the highest standards. Our clinic is fully certified and compliant with the guidelines set by the Canadian Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (CAAASF), a national organization based in Ottawa that ensures private clinics meet strict safety and operational standards for surgical procedures.
We operate as a Level 3 surgical facility, equipped to perform procedures under general anesthesia safely and effectively. This certification isn’t granted lightly—our facility undergoes regular inspections, approvals, and rigorous evaluations to maintain accreditation.
Features like a backup power system, a fire escape plan, and established protocols for emergency hospital transport are mandatory for certification and built into the core of our clinic’s infrastructure.
Our staff is extensively trained in emergency protocols, including CPR and basic life support, to ensure preparedness in any situation. Every team member is regularly updated on safety practices, maintaining a consistent focus on patient well-being. During surgical procedures, experienced anesthesiologists are always present in the operating room to monitor and manage patient care.
Helping someone feel better about themselves is the most rewarding part of what I do. Every day, knowing that I’ve made a positive difference in someone’s life brings a sense of fulfillment that’s hard to match.
Whether it’s through improving someone’s confidence or restoring comfort after a procedure, the simple act of helping others is what drives me.
Hearing feedback from patients is a constant source of motivation. When a patient shares their gratitude or compliments the care they received, it reinforces why this work is so meaningful. It’s not just about the results—it’s about the overall experience. Positive feedback, especially when directed toward the entire team, makes the long hours and detailed work worthwhile.
Seeing patients leave with a renewed sense of self is the highlight of my day, and knowing that I’ve played a part in their journey is what keeps this profession deeply rewarding.
When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll often find me immersed in the world of Formula 1. I live, eat, breathe Formula 1—it’s not just a hobby; it’s a passion. I’ve been a car enthusiast ever since I was a kid, drawn to anything with wheels and an engine. Whether it’s watching the latest races or diving into old classics during the offseason, car racing is something that’s always in my life.
I’m a car guy through and through, captivated by the engineering, precision, and speed that come with it. If medicine hadn’t been my path, I’d probably be working on cars full-time, building, fine-tuning, and chasing the same perfection that drew me to surgery.
Let’s connect and talk about what you’re hoping to achieve—book your consultation today, and we’ll take it from there.
