Yes. Plastic surgery financing is becoming quite common in many offices around the country. During your consultation, a member of the office team can explain your financing options with you and let you know how to get in touch with the providers to apply for a loan. At Allura we are pleased to partner with Medicard for all surgical procedures . Medicard offers competitive interest rates and payment plans ranging from as short as 6 months to up to 6 years. A finance application may be completed in-office or online.

When a plastic surgery procedure is being performed for cosmetic reasons, insurance will not be involved. When the surgery is necessary for reconstructive purposes, however, it may be partially or fully covered by insurance. Plastic surgery procedures that may be covered by insurance often include breast reduction, breast reconstruction after a mastectomy, rhinoplasty (for breathing problems), and eyelid surgery (to correct vision problems).

Cosmetic plastic surgery is performed to enhance or change a healthy, normal, functioning part of the body. Nothing but the patient’s desire for physical improvement necessitates cosmetic plastic surgery. Reconstructive surgery, however, is intended to correct a physical abnormality caused by a birth defect, disease or tumor, physical trauma, or infection. The goal of reconstructive surgery may be to restore function or to achieve physical normality.

Our consultation fee is $175 plus GST and is non-refundable. This fee is due at the time you book your consultation. There is no charge for a second consultation. There is no consultation fee for reconstructive procedures with a referral from your primary care physician.
